1. Connection overview
Basically, the WelcomeConsole is put into operation by the Seabix technician or the Seabix partner on site. Nevertheless, it is important that you know the different connections of the phone in order to be able to put the phone into operation together with the Seabix remote support in the event of a problem or in the event of a warranty replacement.
2. Where does the phone get power from?
The Workforce is usually delivered without a power supply unit. Ideally, it draws its power from a PoE (Power over Ethernet) capable network switch. All Seabix switches support this feature. The power supply from the network switch also enables the establishment of a power bridging concept with a UPS (uninterruptible power supply). Ask Seabix Sales if you are interested in this option.
