1. General information

Seabix UEM manages your company devices securely and efficiently. Seabix ensures that a device is automatically configured with the UEM device management as soon as it has a network connection. Proceed as follows:

• Unpack the device
• Select the language
  
• Accept the license terms
  
• Connect the device to a Wi-Fi or cellular network
  
• The device is now looking for the appropriate device management settings
  
  
  
  
• Confirm that the device is owned by the company
  
• Wait for the work profile to be set up
  
• Accept the installation of the MaaS360 device management app
  
• Be aware that this is not a private device
  
• You have received a registration email

• Select Scan QR Code to complete the registration
• On the next page, enter the passcode from the registration request to confirm
• Confirm the terms and conditions and complete the process by confirming the following steps.
• Your device will now receive all relevant settings and applications. This process may take a moment and the operating system interface will not be available during this time.

3. The work profile view

Once the setup is complete, you will see the following view. In the device owner type, the entire device is managed by your administrator. There is no separation of private and business data. If you want a separation, the device must be registered according to the Profile Owner type .
