Windows Parallels Client
To establish a connection with Seabix MYWORKPLACE, a Parallels connection must be created once.

When you open the Windows Parallels client for the first time, the following window appears. To add a new connection, click "Create Connection."
- Then enter the server address CUSTOMERNUMBER.ras.direct (Example: 12345.ras.direct)
- Connection mode remains on SSL connection
- Create
- Registration:
- Username: Seabix ID (Example 3654)
- Password: *********
- Connect
- You will then see the created connection in the Parallels Client.
- By right-clicking on the connection, you can open the connection properties.
- In the Connection tab you can see the configured fields of the last steps.
- In the Display tab you can define how MYWORKPLACE should be displayed.
- All - It is applied across all connected screens
- Primary - It is only displayed on the screen defined by Windows as the main display
- Selected - It will be applied to the screens selected under “Configure”
Desktop shortcut
If the desktop shortcut does not appear on your desktop after creating the connection, follow these steps:
- Open Parallels Client
- Right-click on the connection
- Create a shortcut on the desktop
Mac OS Parallels Client
To establish a connection with Seabix MYWORKPLACE, a Parallels connection must be created once.
add new connection
When you first open the Mac OS Prallels client, a window pops up asking if you want to add a connection. If this doesn't appear, you can add a new connection by right-clicking on Connections .
The new connection is a Rarallels Remote Application Server . The server must then be handed over. If you do not know this information, please contact Seabix Support via ticket@seabix.com or +41 58 670 80 90.
After entering the server, you'll be asked for your login information. Enter your username and password here.
Desktop shortcut
If the desktop shortcut does not appear on your desktop after creating the connection, follow these steps:
- Open Parallels Client
- Right-click on the connection
- Create a shortcut for all visible applications
