General information about the measurement process
The measuring process is initiated as soon as the head is at a distance of approx. 50 cm from the sensor. The LED ring lights up red, indicating that the correct measuring distance has not yet been reached. From a distance of 30 cm from the lens, the LED ring lights up green. The temperature measurement starts automatically and is completed by an acoustic signal. This happens in less than 1 second. Measurement errors are indicated by a flashing red signal and 3 short signal tones.
