1. Initial situation

Due to the different manufacturers of Android smartphones and tablets, a uniform echo cancellation setting is difficult. Unwanted echoes can therefore occur on certain devices and device combinations. What can I do?

2. Procedure

The Festnetz+ Android app allows you to adapt the echo cancellation to your device type. This guide will show you how to do that. The settings below work well for most devices, but you may have to adjust the individual values to your smartphone / tablet.

  • Open the settings within the Festnetz+ app by clicking on the gear
  • Scroll down to the menu item "Show advanced settings"> Click on this item

  • Please set the following values in the AEC configuration:
