Prerequisites:

  • For Seabix, Teams integration must be enabled on the trunk and on the desired users
  • Every Teams user must have at least Teams Essentials and Teams Phone Standard licensed to use the voice functionality.
  • At least 1 Teams user must be activated.
  • One SBC must be registered per customer tenant
  • The desired numbers must be registered with the user
  • The user must be assigned the necessary routing policies

Activating SBC in Teams Tenant:

  • The customer must prepare the Festnetz+ domain in his tenant according to Seabix's instructions > the necessary TXT record is sent to Seabix
  • Seabix configures the appropriate TXT record in the DNS system after which the customer can complete his activation
  • Customer activates at least one user with Teams Essentials (or bundle) and Teams Phone Standard (or bundle)
  • The following adjustments must be made in the Teams Admin Center
    • Voip > Direct Routing > SBC > +
      • Name: Festnetz+ FQDN as specified
      • Enabled: On
      • SIP signaling port: 5070
      • Send SIP options: On
      • Call forwarding history: On
      • Forward P-Asserted-Identity (PAI) header: A
      • Capacity for simultaneous calls: according to the number of trunks configured in Seabix
      • Failover response codes: 408, 503, 504
      • Failover time (seconds): 10
      • SBC supports PIDF/LO for emergency calls: no
      • Media Bypass: Off
      • Bypass mode: None
      • Preferred country for media traffic: Switzerland
      • Location-based routing: Off
      • Gateway Site ID: None
    • Voip > Direct Routing > Manage PSTN usage entries
      • Add > Value: Unrestricted
    • Voip > VoIP Routing Policies > Add
      • Name: Default voice routing policy to PSTN
      • Add/Link: PSTN Usage Entry Unrestricted

Activation of users for teams

  • Teams Admin Center > Users > Select Users
    • Add phone number in international format, e.g. +41 58 670 80 90
    • In the Policies Voip Routing Policy set to Default voice routing policy to PSTN
