1. General Information
Festnetz+ + based on Wildix uses Collaboration as a softphone. Collaboration can be used either as a web application or as a native application . In any case, the Festnetz+ + Integration Service must be installed in order to use advanced features such as headset integration and screen sharing. If the web application is used, the browser extension must also be installed, this process is described below. When using the browser application, we generally recommend a Chrome-based browser (Chrome, Vivaldi, etc.)
2. Login to the web application
To log in to the web application, proceed as follows:
- Open the web browser
- In the URL bar, enter the PBX name (e.g. https://mycompany.wildixin.com ). You will receive this upon commissioning.
- Enter your access data, you received this during commissioning or you can see it in Seabix IO.
Once you access Collaboration, follow the pop-up notifications that will help you set the correct browser permissions:
- Enable desktop notifications (incoming call/chat/voicemal and other toast notifications)
- Enable location sharing
- Access to camera and microphone
3. Correct browser settings
Even after the initial setting of permissions, the browsers offer the option of adjusting them. Click on the location icon in the URL bar and then on Change. You can also set other permissions this way.
We recommend setting at least the following authorizations in the following authorizations. You can grant additional permissions, such as location approval, as required.
